Project Overview

Method Seven's groundbreaking and proprietary lens technology and sophisticated eyewear designs allow the indoor horticulturalist to transition from the street to the harsh light of the grow room and back effortlessly. We designed, developed and deployed an enterprise-ready e-commerce system capable of managing dealer and wholesale accounts, inventory, and integration with their shipping management software resulting in a powerful system that supported their operational needs with maximum efficiency.

User Friendly E-Commerce Build

We designed the Method Seven interface with the user in mind. The clean, clutter-free presentation keeps the emphasis on the product and technology, while allowing the user to effortlessly navigate through the brand’s offerings all the way to checkout.

Real-Time Shipping Integration

Method Seven needed a streamlined shipping process which automatically added shipment tracking information to the customer order email. Using Magento and ShipWorks we provided a tight two-way integration between. Now each order automatically populates all order, customer, and product information into the ShipWorks web application. Push the “ship” button in ShipWorks and Magento automatically sends the customer an email with the new tracking number. Did we mention that with this integration Customer Service can offer real-time shipping cost options to the customer directly from the Magento order screen?

Foreign Language Support

Method Seven had a unique challenge: provide a fantastic on-site experience to international customers in 5 different languages.

We architected and configured a separate “store” for each language with appropriate URL’s as well as provided intuitive visual cues and navigation between language sites. Additionally, we installed Magento’s open source language modules and developed easy content management strategies for loading human translated product and category information. No detail went unnoticed from Magento’s transactional email to maintaining SEO best practices across multiple-language sites.
